Lucy drove along West Street in her '69 Beatle, looking for any suspicious activity, finishing up her rounds.  It was nearly 1:00 a.m. and she only had a couple of more hours to go.
After finding nothing out of the ordinary, she pulled over along the curb and turned off her car.  Then reaching behind the seat, Lucy pulled a beat up canvas backpack over to her.  She reached a hand inside and pulled out a recycled paper notebook.
Flipping the cover open, many pages were crinkled from the notebook being quickly shut.  Hot chocolate stains marked some of the pages and cookie crumbs stuck to some of those stains.  Lucy brushed her hand over those stains to knock the stuck crumbs off.
Smiling, Lucy then turned to the nearest blank page.  And pulling a pen out from the backpack, she began to write on the pages.
April 10, 2003.  Things are slow tonight, for once.  Nothing has been interesting since spring break.  But at least it's giving me a chance to rest.  With T going nuts trying to figure out the new tracking devices, I need any rest I can get.
Looking up, Lucy saw headlights approaching her and slowing down.  Quickly, she shoved the notebook and pen back into the backpack and started up her car.  Watching out of the corner of her eye, she lit up a half-used roach that had been sitting in her ashtray.  Taking a puff, she looked up at the car that was now pulled beside her own.
The driver's side window on the car rolled down and a man in his 40's popped his head out.  "You need any help?" he asked her, looking her car over.
"Nope," Lucy replied, shaking her head.  Smiling, she then took another drag from the roach and said, "Just taking a smoke break."
Laughing, the man then rolled up his car window and drove on.  And as soon as he was out of sight, Lucy grounded out the marijuana roach into her ashtray and then pulled her notebook and pen back out.
It's always fun when I'm sitting here, writing in this, and someone drives up to see if I need help or something.  And the best part is the reactions I get from some people when they just see me smoking a marijuana joint.
Grinning, Lucy put the notebook and pen back into the backpack again.  It was late and, even though she was still supposed to stay out, she decided to head home and get some rest.

It was later that day, in the late afternoon.  Sebastian was walking from the kitchen towards the TV room to catch the the TV show, Pardon the Interruption.  He had a large sandwich in one hand and a can of Coke in the other.  It had been a quiet afternoon around the mansion, this being his day off, and he had rather enjoyed it.  After all the hastle of spring break with Disco Dave and then the theatre's production of Fiddler, his days off were very important to him.
But when he sat down on one of the couches, he heard the front door open and then slam shut with a loud bang.  Then Sebastian heard footsteps pound up the stairs and down the long hallway leading to the girls' bedrooms.
Shrugging his shoulders, Sebastian sat down the sandwich and pop on the coffee table and reached for the remote control.  And just as he was about to turn on the TV, he heard a loud "SHIT!" come from upstairs---the voice of it belonging to his fiance.
Sighing, Sebastian put the remote down and grabbed his snack and headed towards Jessica's rooms upstairs.  He then just shook his head, taking a bite of the sandwich, as he made his way up the stairs and down the hallway to her rooms.
Jessica's bedroom door was standing wide open, but Sebastian didn't find her in there.  Instead, he heard the rustling of papers and thuds of things hitting the floor in her study.  Taking another bite of his sandwich, Sebastian made his way into her study.  As usual, the room was a disaster of papers and books scattered all over the desk and the top of the baby grand piano.
His fiance, however, looked more of a mess as she frantically searched through a large stack of books and notebooks that sat next to an overstuffed chair.  Her back was to him and she didn't notice him standing inside of the doorway.
"Lose something?" Sebastian asked her, taking a swallow of his Coke.
"Something like that," she muttered as she continued searching through the stack she had been on.  'Dammit!" she sweared softly, then sighing.  Standing up, she moved over to another pile of papers, books, and notebooks that sat on her piano and began quickly leafing through them.
Sebastian just stood there for a while, watching her as if she had lost her mind.  Then shrugging his shoulders, he left her study and went over to sit on her bed.  Reaching for the remote, he turned the TV onto ESPN and the show that he had intended to watch that afternoon.
As he sat there, listening to Tony and Mike go back and forth, Sebastian could hear the occassional swearing coming from the open door to the study.  But Jessica didn't come into the bedroom and Sebastian was left in peace to finish his sandwich and Coke while watching the rest of his show.
And twenty minutes later, just as the credits to PTI were scrolling across the TV screen, Jessica came out of the study and plopped herself onto the bed, a look of defeat on her face.  She then reached for the remote and flipped it off.  Rolling over from her stomach to her back, she looked up at the ceiling and sighed.
"You're probably wondering what's wrong, huh?" Jessica asked Sebastian, who just sat there on the bed, watching her.
"Weeeeeellllll," he began, "I just was trying to stay out of your way.  But, yeah...I'm curious.  So what's wrong?"
Propping herself up on her elbow, Jessica looked Sebastian square in the eye.  "It has to do with a journal."
      "A journal?"
"Yes, a journal," Jessica repeated herself.  Looking down at Sebastian's hand, she began to draw patterns on the palm of it with her fingertips.  "It's a very personal journal."
"Well, how personal can it be than just stuff about us?" Sebastian asked her, smiling as her fingers then intertwined with his.
     "It's Lucy Diamond's journal."
Sebastian sat up further, his hand retreating from her's, and he said quietly, "I didn't know that she kept a journal."
      "Well," Jessica began, "she did."
"She di--wait a second," Sebastian said.  His brow furrowed and he cocked his head and let his eyes squint at her.  "Did you just say DID?  Don't you mean, DOES?"
Jessica only looked at him, a sheepish look on her face.  "Oh no," he said, even more quietly than before.  "You didn't."
      "I did."
For a minute, Sebastian was quiet.  "Well, you just misplaced it, right?" he said after the silence.
Sitting up, Jessica moved herself so that she sat on the edge of the bed in front of Sebastian.  "Not exactly," she said.
"Not exactly?  What do you mean by 'not exactly'"?
"Well, to make a long story short," Jessica began, "I was in a rush this morning to get to school and I grabbed all the notebooks on my desk and put them in my backpack.  And, the journal was one of those notebooks."
       "Oh no."
"Oh yes," Jessica continued.  "The worst thing is, I was in my meeting over my senior thesis with Dr. Spade this morning.  And while I was waiting for him, I got out my notebook to make notes but thought I saw what looked to be my journal or my notebook of musings.  Then after my meeting with him, I went off to orchestra, forgetting about my backpack being open.  When I got there, I realized that my backpack had been left open the whole time and that the only one notebook was missing."  She stopped, looking down at her folded hands in her lap.
"You're kidding me," Sebastian said, running his hands over his face.  "You mean to tell me that of ALL your notebooks, you lost Lucy's JOURNAL?!?!"
Jessica only meekly nodded, sighing.  There was then a silence of several minutes between them, both thinking of what to do next.
"Have you told T?" It was Sebastian who spoke up next, breaking the everlasting silence.
Jessica looked harshly over at Sebastian.  "Are you kidding???  He'd kill me if he knew." Groaning, Jessica laid back down, kicking her feet that hung over the edge of the bed.
"Okay then," Sebastian began, "we just need to find it before anyone else does."  He stood up.  "Get your purse and let's go."
Jessica sat back up and looked weirdly at her fiance.  "Now?!?"
"Yes," he replied, taking her hand and pulling her to her feet.  "Now!"

Sabrina Harlow had been walking to class that morning when she had saw a notebook hit the ground.  Looking up, she couldn't figure out to whom it belonged, so she decided to pick it up and stick it in her own backpack.  But once she got home that afternoon, she ran to her bedroom and slammed the door behind her, curious as to what the mysterious notebook held.
Opening the cover, she saw that the date of August 30, 2000 written in it.  And then a page and a half of writing covered.  Looking up, she grinned to herself---a journal!!!  For years, Sabrina had loved sneaking reads of her olders sisters' journals and now she was doing the same of someone she didn't know.
Flipping through the pages, she skimmed the writings in it.  Most of it was pretty boring, but she reached one dated February 27, 2001.
Times have been getting a bit more tough with Chief Humphrey on our case.  He's been searching more and more for us, wondering who we really are.  Ty and T have been trying to find every way possible for it to make the it near impossible for the force to figure out our identity.  In fact, that male pig knows that we have been the one solving crime around here, except he credits it all to himself if he can.  The rare occassions where a saved vicitim says "It was five woman who saved my life!  They said that they call themselves The Others!" is the only recognition we even dare get.  But it isn't for the recognition that we do this.  It's to fight for justice and to protect the people in the world, especially when an incompetent police chief like Humphrey can't do their job.
It was signed Lucy Diamond.  Sabrina's eyes got big.  She knew that the police have been looking for The Others for a few years now and had never caught them.  And now she had the journal to one of them!!!!
Climbing off her bed, Sabrina grabbed her backpack and stuffed the notebook back into it.  Then she quickly made her way out of her house and to the police station---she was going to be a hero!!!

Jessica and Sebastian pulled into the police station.  Sebastian had wanted to stop there and do a couple of paperwork things before they headed back home.  Their search for the journal had been fruitless and being at the station was the last place that Jessica wanted to be.
"How much do you have to do?"  Jessica asked, plopping down into a chair in front of Sebastian's desk.
"Not much," Sebastian replied, starting up his computer.  "I just want to get some stuff done now so we can go out and look again first thing in the morning."
"Great," Jessica sighed sarcastically.  She then leaned her head against her hand and sat there, a frown on her face as she worried about the journal.

Sabrina ran into the police station and was walking around, looking to see if Sebastian was at his desk.  And much to her happiness, he was.  He is soooooo adorable, she thought to herself, smiling dreamily.  But then she looked closer and that his fiance, Jessica was sitting there in front of his desk. Her eyes narrowed as she approached Sebastian's desk.
"Hi, Sebastian," she said sweetly, standing at the corner of the desk.  She flashed him her best smile, showing off her perfect pearly whites.
Sebastian looked up, smiled, winked at Jessica, and replied, "Hey, Sabrina!  What's up?"
Sabrina gave a quick glare at Jessica and then smiled again at Sebastian.  "Well, I had something that I wanted to show you."
Sebastian leaned back in his chair and shook his head.  "Sorry, but I'm off duty," he told her.  He then turned to his computer, which had just completed booting up and began opening up a file.
     Pouting, Sabrina whined, "But Sebastian..."
"No, not now," he told her, glancing over at the college freshman.  "I've got some work to do, so go ahead and run along."
Sighing, Sabrina closed her eyes.  Then, she left, leaving Jessica with a cool look.  But as she continued walking through the building, she saw Chief Humphrey walking down a hallway to his office.
"Chief!" she called out, running down the hallway to him.  "Chief Humphrey!"
Turning around, the balding, beer bellied man looked around to see who was calling his voice.  He rolled his eyes when he saw Sabrina heading his way.  Turning back around, he continued to walk to his office as fast as his short stubby legs would carry him.  But she caught up to him in no time flat.
"Chief, I have something to show you!" she said, walking briskly beside him.
"Not now, girl," he scowled.  "Why don't you run back home?"
"But Chief!" she cried out, still walking beside him.  "It's important!"
Now at his office door, Humphrey opened it up and turned around to face the girl.  "Don't make me have an officer escort you out, Sabrina Harlow.  Now leave this station!"
He started to slam his door shut, but she put out stiff arm and held it open.  In a low and hushed voice, she said, "But I have something that might help you with catching The Others."
Humphrey's eyes got big and he opened the door wider.  "Then come on in, my dear," he said.  "Let's see what you got."

The next morning, Jessica woke up to her alarm, thankful it was a Saturday.  She knew that the campus would't be as busy since it was a weekend day and she and Sebastian would have a better time to try and find Lucy's journal.
Yawning, she shut off her alarm and slipped out of bed.  Throwing on a robe and slippers, she headed out of her room and to the kitchen to grab a bite to eat before her and her fiance head out.  She knew that she'd need the energy to make it through the day.  Maybe she could take a nap later, though.
Glancing at the clock, Jessica saw that it was almost 7:00, time for Alec to be getting back.  Poopsie was usually awake to great him, but for some reason, she hadn't come out of her room yet that morning.  "Must've had a long week and wanted to sleep in," Jessica said to herself as she poured herself a glass of grape juice.
As she reached up into the cupboard to get the Cream of Wheat, Jessica heard footsteps in the hallway.  Turning around, she saw Alec walk into the kitchen.  Smiling a good morning at him, Jessica turned back to the counter so she could fix her cereal.
"Jessica, I need to talk to you about something," Alec said suddenly.
Spinning around, Jessica's heart began to beat fast and she asked him, "What's wrong, Alec?"
"Just come with me, please," he said.  And he exited the kitchen.
Jessica followed him down the hallway a long ways the wing where he, Sebastian, and Zarbon had their rooms.  Alec then opened the door to his room and motioned for Jessica to follow him.  He went over to his computer and opened up a web browser.  Alec then quickly opened up the THPD website and sat back in his computer chair.  Jessica, who was standing behind him, leaned forward to look.
Gasping, she cried out, "Oh no!  You've gotta be KIDDING me!!!"
Alec looked at her hard and asked, "Just what in the bloody hell is this doing on the PD's website?"
Sighing, Jessica told him the whole story.  After she had finished, Alec sat their quietly for a moment.  "T doesn't know, does he?"
"No," she replied, her voice quiet.
"T doesn't know what?" a voice piped up from the doorway.
Looking at the doorway, they saw a still-pajamaed Poopsie looking at them.  Alec and Jessica looked at each other and then back at Poopsie.
Giving Jessica a "look", she asked, "What did you do this time, JED?"  And after a few moments, she asked, "JED?"
Sighing, Jessica looked down at the floor and mumbled something.  You're gonna have to speak up, dear, Poopsie said into Jessica's mind.
"I said that I lost Lucy Diamond's journal and now it's on the THPD website."
"You WHAT?!?!" Poopsie exclaimed, running over to see the webpage that Alec had up.
"I saw it early this morning when I was bored at work," Alec said.  He nodded at Jessica.  "T doesn't know yet."
"Oh, JED, dear," Poopsie said, placing her hand on her friend's arm.  "If T, Tonya, or Dee find out, you're a dead woman."
"Well, no shit!" Jessica exclaimed, a pained look on her face.  "That means that we gotta figure this out before they find out."
With that, they heard Techno's voice over the PA say, "Jessica, get your ass down here...NOW!!!"
"Too late," Alec said, giving Jessica a sympathetic look.

Her feet landing on the floor of the Cave, Jessica stood timidly still, not knowing quite what to expect.  She looked over and saw Techno sitting at the command center, his eye fixed to a computer monitor.  Jessica knew that it was the excerpt from Lucy's journal that he was staring at it.  Gulping, she took a tiny step forward.
"You called me down here?" her voice cracked, dry from nervousness.
Without looking from the screen, Techno said sharply, "Sit down at the table."  So with her eyes wide, Jessica padded over to the round table in the center of the Cave and sat down.
Techno then stood up from the computer chair at the command center and sat down in a chair across from Jessica.  His uncovered eye glaring at her, he spoke.  "I hope you have a FUCKING GOOD EXPLANATION as to why in the HELL that is up on that website?"  His head motioned to the computer screen at the center.
Lowering her eyes, Jessica murmered, "It was an accident, T."
"Accident."  Techno then stood up and began to pace next to the table.  Spinning around, he said loudly, "ACCIDENT?!?!  No, this is not an ACCIDENT.  It's pure STUPIDITY!"
"I'm sorry, T!" Jessica said softly, shifting uncomfortably in her chair.
Running his hands over his face, Techno sighed.  "Don't apologize to me."  Turning, he looked her dead in her eyes.  "You better be apologizing to the others in this house.  THEY are the ones that YOU put at risk when your brain farted and then exploded in your HEAD!"  Fury was written all over his face.
Jessica was silent---she didn't know what to say.  But Techno said plenty for the both of them.  "Go back upstairs," he said, turning around so his back faced her.  "You're grounded."
Looking up, Jessica stared at him incredulously.  "I'm WHAT?!?" she cried out.
"You heard me," he said coldly.  "Grounded.  You do not go anywhere except for classes."
Jessica stood up and said, "You can't do this to me!!!!  I didn't mean to!"
Glancing over his shoulder, Techno elaborated, "And I'm pulling you from your rounds.  We can't risk having you out there right now."
Gasping, Jessica glared hard at Techno.  Then she turned around and stormed off and up the stairs to her room.

After marching through the open doorway of her room, Jessica slammed the door shut, causing the windows in her room to rattle.  After locking the deadbolt on her door, she then moved over to her couch and plopped down on it, books lying on it falling to the hardwood floor with a thud. Placing her head in her hands, Jessica moaned as she dreaded Dee and Tonya finding out the horrible truth as to what had happened---but she didn't have to wait long for that.
She could hear a distant thudding somewhere in the house, the sound becoming more and more distinct by the second.  All of a sudden, it was clear---footsteps, loud and pounding, were headed straight for her door.
The handle rattled on her door and a loud banging ensued.  "OPEN THIS FUCKING DOOR UP!"  Dee shouted through the thick walnut, banging her fists as hard as she could.
Jessica's eyes got large and terror struck a chord in her soul.  "Oh shit," she whispered, closing her eyes as the pounding on the door continued.
"How can you be so fucking STUPID?"  Dee yelled at her through the door.  "You've done some really stupid and shitty things in your life, JED, but this just busts David Bowie's balls!"
Clearing her throat, Jessica scrunched back further into the worn cushions of her couch.  And at that instant, Poopsie appeared at the foot of her bed, in front of the couch.
"T's telling Tonya right now, dear," she warned Jessica.
The pounding at the door stopped and Jessica could hear the silence.  It pressed against her as her ears strained for any signs of life beyond the door.  Finally, she heard a voice---and a drill.
"Stand back, Dee," Tonya's muffled voice said.  "We'll be chewing her ass personally here in just a moment."
"Ohhhhh son-of-a-monkey's-butt..." Jessica trailed off.  She looked at Poopsie, eyes pleading for her friend to do something.
Nodding, Poopsie went over and sat next to Jessica, clasping hands with her friend.  And Jessica's last view of her room was of a drillbit coming through the deadbolt of her door.

Jessica woke up the next day in her bedroom, covers tangled around her body.  Rubbing her eyes, she sat up.  It was the day after her horrible secret had gotten out.  The day before had been miserable.  After Poopsie had teleported her to Poospie's room for a while, she had snuck back into her room and locked the deadbolt that Sebastian had put in to replace the one that Tonya had destroyed trying to get to her.  By now, though, her friends had settled down enough to the point that they just merely glared at her.  For this, Jessica was thankful.
Yawning, she swung her feet over the edge of the bed and looked at the clock.  It was only 8:30 and she didn't have class until 11:00.  And Techno had placed a tracking device on her ankle early in the morning, so that he would know where she was at if she left the house.  Tugging at the horrible black strap around her ankle, Jessica sighed.  It was going to be a long morning until class.
Getting up, she went towards her bathroom to take a shower.  Luckily, T had made the tracking device waterproof, so she wouldn't be stinking up the house unbathed.  But as she walked past the door, the device caught and she tripped headfirst, falling onto the hardwood floor.  Groaning, she stood up and walked to the shower.  But unbeknownst to her, the device, which had been flashing a bright green light, had stopped flashing.

Techno was sitting at his computer, finsihing taking off the diary excerpts fromt he THPD website.  Luckily, he was able to code his IP address so that the PD couldn't track him.  Even Sebastian and Alec had no idea as to what he was doing.  Just as he logged out, Sebastian walked down the stairs and into the Cave, having just gotten off work.  Plopping himself down on a couch, he stretched out and closed his eyes.  "Is she still here?"  he asked.
Without looking up from the screen of the computer, Techno replied, "She should be on her way to classes right now.  Let me check."  He quickly brought up the tracking software onto another monitor of the control unit.  Looking, he could see nothing on the screen.  Frowning, he typed in a series of commands---but nothing showed up.
Having heard the typing of keys several times, Sebastian's eyes popped open.  "T?  Isn't she at class?"
      "Damn thing."
Sebastian could hear some more typing of keys and this time sat up.  "T?"
"Fuck," Techno mumbled.  He stood up and turned around.  "Something happened to the device.  I can't find anything on the software that has her anywhere---even in this house."
Shaking his head, Sebastian also stood up.  "I should've known she'd try to escape that thing," he said, sighing.  "You should've banned her from classes too."
"Obviously," Techno said, rolling his eyes.  Walking over to the PA system, he shouted into it, "If anyone is in this house, GET DOWNSTAIRS NOW!!!"

Jessica walked into her Early Civ class, her jeans barely covering the bump of the tracking device around her ankle.  Sitting towards the middle of the room, she pulled out her notebook and began to prepare for the day's lessons.  Looking around, she saw Sabrina Harlow talking to Dr. Rodriguez.  Her eyes narrowing, Jessica frowned too.  Sabrina was such a pest in her life.
In a couple of minutes, Sabrina walked over to where Jessica was sitting and sat down next to her, pulling out her notebook and book.  Tensing up, Jessica began to doodle on a page of her notebook, hoping that Sabrina would go away.  Instead, the girl turned towards her and gave her a fake smile.
"Hi, Jessica.  How are you today?"  Sabrina asked, her voice dripping with fakeness.
      "Fine."
"Good."  Sabrina smiled again.  Jessica wanted to slap the grin off of Sabrina's face.
"What do you want?" Jessica asked through clenched teeth.
The smile leaving her face, Sabrina glared at Jessica, the fakeness and niceness gone.  "I've found something so big that both your Sebastian and the entire police force will love me for."
"What's that?" Jessica asked, rolling her eyes.
Leaning in closer, Sabrina said in a low voice.  "I found evidence of what the police have been trying to find all along."  She looked around the room and leaned in even closer to whisper, "I found Lucy Diamond's journal."  Sabrina then leaned back, a superior smile on her face.
"You found WHAT?" Jessica said rather loudly, her eyes bugging out.  She looked at Sabrina in disbelief.  But Sabrina only nodded, her smile becoming even more "more-holier-than-thou".
Looking at her notebook, Jessica froze.  So that's where it's at!  And THAT'S how it got on the website.  DAMMIT!"
Gathering up her stuff, Jessica shoved everything in her backpack, zipped it up, stood up, and grabbed both her purse and backpack.  Without saying a word, she walked briskly past a questioning Sabrina and out of the classroom.
Luckily, everyone was in class by now and Lieber Hall was empty on the 5th floor.  Sitting down on a nearby bench,  she grabbed her cellphone and dialed the mansion.  She finally knew now that everything would be okay---she hope.

Sebastian heard the phone ring and walked across the Cave to answer it.  Looking at the caller ID, he noticed that it was his fiance's cell phone number.  Hitting the "TALK" button, he said, "Where are you?"
"What?" Jessica asked.  Her loud voice echoed through the empty lobby of the floor she was on.
Sighing with frustration, Sebastian asked again, "Where ARE you?"
"School," Jessica replied, a bit of irritation in her voice.  "Give the phone to T.  I need to talk to him."
Shaking his head, Sebastian went over to Techno and handed the phone to him.  "It's her."
Grabbing hold of the phone, Techno said into it, calmly, "Where are you?"
"At school, dummy.  Where else would I be?"
Closing his eye, Techno breathed out.  "Why did you tamper with the tracking device?"
"Huh?"  There was then silence on the line while Jessica sat in the lobby, confused as ever.
      "You know what I mean!"
Groaning, Jessica replied, "Listen, T.  I called to tell you that I know who has Lucy's diary."
Jumping to his feet, Techno walked over to where Sebastian was standing, motioning him to turn on the speaker phone.  Sebastian did so in a hurry only to here Jessica saying, "...and that's how I found out that she has it!  She's such a BITCH!  ERG!"
"WHO has it, Jess?"  Sebastian said,  Jessica then realizing that the speaker phone was on.
Raising her eyebrows, Jessica pursed her lips.  "Sabrina Harlow."

It was five o'clock that evening.  Sebastian was sitting at his desk at work, with Alec sitting at the desk next to him.  The looked at each other and nodded slightly when Chief Humphrey walked out of his office, shutting and locking the door behind him.  As his fat belly walked past them, Alec said loudly, "Hey, Chief---have you seen this yet?"
"Black, I have to get home.  My old woman made a meal for once," the Chief said, brushing off Alec as he continued to walk past.
Standing up abruptly, though, Sebastian said, "But, sir...it has to do with the department's website."  And it's something that will get us that diary, he thought.
Stopping in mid-stride, Humphrey sighed and made his way over to Alec's desk, where the computer was on the home page, the departement's website.  Staring at the screen, he frowned.  Then, Humphrey motioned for Alec to get out of his seat.  "Move, Black."
Alec stood up and moved for the chief, who then sat down and began to scroll further down the page.  He frowned even more and mumbled something.  Continuing to search the site, his eyes opened wide and his mouth fell open.  Looking up quickly, he asked, "Where's the hippie's diary excerpts on here?"
"That's the problem, Chief," Sebastian said, who was standing behind the chief now.  "It's missing."
His eyes confused, Humprhey said, "Missing?  How in the---" he stopped as the lightbulb went on in his head, "those GIRLS!!!!  THEY did this!"  Standing up abruptly, the chair falling backwards, he said, "Those BITCHES!  THEY somehow DID this!!!!"  His face began to turn red from humiliation and anger.
Doing his best to keep his tongue in check, Alec said, "Sir...what are you going to do about it?"
Turning around, his face aflame, Humprhey pointed his short, fat finger into the chest of Alec.  "You mean, what are YOU going to do about it?"
"Me, sir?" Alec asked.  He looked over at Sebastian, who was now grinning at him.
"Yes, YOU!" Humphrey said loudly.  He then turned around as quickly as his non-agile body would let him.  Then putting his finger into Sebastian's chest, he said, "And you too!!!"
"What are you talking about, Chief?" Sebastian asked, playing Humphrey to the hilt.
"BOTH of you!"  Humphrey said, looking back and forth at the two.  "BOTH of you are on this case staring RIGHT NOW!"
Alec looked at the ceiling, put his hand on his chin, and pretended to be thinking about it.  Finally, he looked at the seething Humphrey and said, "Well, then, sir, Lewis and I will need the diary and all other evidence to try and track these wom--er, GIRLS down."
"Whatever!"  Humphrey yelled.  "Whatever you want!  JUST GET THEM!"
